TOLLAND, CT — State police are looking for a car burglar with a unique outfit captured on a home surveillance system.

The Oct. 2 incident took place at 1:45 a.m. in the pouring rain at Bucks Crossing, according to a report. A man was shown on an expensive security system entering an unlocked vehicle. State police said he stole about $60 before leaving the scene.

The top half of the thief's outfit was typical — a dark-colored hoodie, the video shows.

But the surveillance images show him wearing something down low that may eventually identify him — what state police are describing as "athletic pants" with a "distinguishable" red stripe around the waist and down the legs.

The burglar is being described as a white male.
