State Cops Setting Up Memorial Day Weekend DUI Checkpoint In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — State police from the Troop C barracks have scheduled a weekend drunken driving checkpoint in Tolland.

The checkpoint will be set up on Route 195 — known locally as Merrow Road — near the Goose Lane Intersection, state police said.

It will commence in the late evening on Saturday and run until the early morning hours on Sunday, state police said.

State police have also promised roving patrols with a variety of vehicles throughout the weekend.
