A motor vehicle violation led to the discovery of 80 bags of Fentanyl, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — A registration plate violation led to the seizure of 80 bags of Fentanyl on a section of Interstate-84, state police said.
The vehicle was spotted at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday on I-84 in Tolland with the "wrong" registration plate and pulled over, according to a report.
State police searched the vehicle and found 80 bags containing the lethal drug, according to a report.

Aimee and Daniel Bakanowsky, 39 and 41, of Tamworth, NH, were arrested and charged with possessing a controlled substance.
