State Police Investigation Underway In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — Connecticut State Police are conducting an active investigation in Tolland on Saturday, led by the Bureau of Special Investigations.

Spring Mountain Road is closed between Route 74/Tolland Stage Road and Elizabeth Lane, and authorities are urging the public to avoid the area, according to NBC Connecticut. Police said the scene is contained with no threat to the public.

The state Department of Agriculture is also on the scene and there's no timeline available on when the road will reopen.
