State Police Looking For Bandit In Skinny Jeans After Tolland Holdup

TOLLAND, CT β€” State police have released surveillance images of a thief in designer jeans who held up a local gas station late last week.

According to a state police report, at 8:22 p.m. Thursday, a man walked into the Citgo station convenience store at 205 Merrow Road, confronted the cashier while implying he had a weapon, and demanded that the cashier open the drawer and withdraw money.

The man then took the cash, along with and several "food items" and left the store, according to a state police report.

The man is being described in a police reports as being Hispanic, about 5-foot-10 with a slim build. He was dressed in a white baseball hat, a black face mask, a red puffy coat with a blue collared shirt underneath, light washed blue skinny jeans and red sneakers.

The man exited the store, entered a black, four door sedan that appeared to be a Honda Accord and fled at a high rate of speed south on Route 195 toward Mansfield, according to a state police report.
