State Police from Troop C Break Up Fight at the End of Their Own Driveway

One man was charged in the fracas, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — State police did not have far to go to break up a weekend disturbance in Tolland.

It was at the end of their driveway.

The fight broke out Saturday at 4:26 p.m. at the intersection of the Troop C barracks driveway with Route 74, state police said.

Vilasak Chanthavong, 39, wound up being arrested and charged with third-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, according to an incident report.

No one was injured, state police said. A report did not indicate what prompted the fight to break out so close to a police station.
