The Board of Education endorsed the co-op teams at its Sept. 25 meeting.
E.O. Smith will host the teams - hockey at the University of Connecticut facilities and swimming at the Mansfield Recreation Center, THS Athletic
Director Pat Cox said.
School officials said there is no cost to the local school system.
The hockey co-op is renewing a successful partnership during the 2012-13 season. The team finished 11-8-1 and qualified for the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference Division III tournament.
