To clean the toilet, pour baking soda and vinegar into toilet and let it sit for 15 minutes. After it sits, scrub it with a brush and flush.
For chrome faucets and fixtures, dab a little baby oil on a clean towel and polish.
To remove soap scum, spray cooking spray on shower doors and walls and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. The oil will cut through the scum and lime deposits. After it sits for a while, rinse it off with soapy water.
For clogged drains, drop Alka-Seltzer tablets into the drain. Follow the tablets with vinegar and after 10 minutes, rinse with boiling water.
If you have a shower head that needs some shining, first remove it. Fill part of a plastic bag with vinegar, and drop shower head into the bag, ensuring it is completely covered by vinegar. Secure the bag with a rubber band and let it soak for an hour before removing it.
To clean tile, combine kosher salt, baking powder, and borax in a jar. Shake the jar and sprinkle the mixture on areas that need scouring. Wipe with a sponge and rise.
For tough grout spots, soak cotton beauty coils in bleach and place on grout lines or in the nook where the tub meets the tile. Let the coils sit overnight before removing and rinsing.
To get your tub sparkling clean, cut a grapefruit in half and sprinkle it with salt. Wet your tub and sprinkle additional salt on the bottom. Use the fruit as a scrubber and then rinse the tub clean.
