Tolland Advances to U19 American Legion Baseball Super Regionals
Tolland swept a pair of games from Glastonbury in the regionals to advance to the Elite Eight.
TOLLAND, CT — Tolland took another step toward capturing the U19 American Legion baseball championship by sweeping Glastonbury in a best 2-out-of-3 series Wednesday and Thursday.
Seeded first in the Northern Division, Tolland posted 3-1 and 2-1 victories to advance to the Super Regionals, beginning Saturday.
Other teams advancing from the Northern Division were Avon, Rocky Hill-Cromwell-Portland and New London, while Stamford, Waterbury, Stratford and Cheshire qualified from the Southern Division.
