Tolland Boys Soccer Team Continues to Roll in State Tournament Play
There was plenty of tournament action on tap Thursday for regional soccer, volleyball and field hockey teams.

TOLLAND, CT — Seeking its second consecutive state championship, the Tolland High School boys soccer team took another huge step by upsetting top-seeded Nonnewaug 3-2 in a penalty kick shootout Thursday.
The Eagles, seeded 16th in Class M, advance to the quarterfinals, and will host No. 25 Ledyard Saturday at 2 p.m.
Nonnewaug had breezed through the regular season, winning all 16 games with an amazing scoring margin of 72-4.
