Tolland Firefighters Take Care of Burning Car Amid Snowflakes on Tuesday

TOLLAND, CT — Firefighters had to take to the snowy roads on Tuesday afternoon to put out a car fire on Route 195.

The car was against a snow bank and burning at about 3 p.m. in the area of 407 Merrow Road, the local address for that section of Route 195, fire officials said.

The driver was out of car when firefighters arrived, according to Tolland Alert.

The road was back open in about an hour, fire officials said.
