Tolland Girls, Boys Sweep Division Titles at CCC Cross Country Championships
Eagles rule the North-White division in Wednesday's meet at Wickham Park.
On an unseasonably warm late October afternoon, runners from Tolland High School enjoyed a highly successful day navigating the hilly 3.1 mile course at Wickham Park in Manchester.
In the newly-aligned Central Connecticut Conference, the Eagle girls and boys teams each prevailed as North-White division champions at the CCC Cross Country Championships.
Katherine Deloreto was the top overall finisher in the girls race, covering the course in 19:06. Hayley Collins was second and Michaela Caron was 10th, while Caitlin Swanson (18th) and Sidney Perryman (25th) also placed in the top 25 of the 174-girl field.

On the boys’ side, Josh Bedard was seventh and Ethan Davis placed 24th in the pack of 207 runners.
