Tolland Girls Move Into Soccer Semifinals

TOLLAND, CT — Seeking its fourth state championship, but first since 1985, the Tolland High School girls soccer team took another big step Friday, eliminating eighth-seeded Watertown 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the Class M tournament.

The 17th-seeded Eagles will tangle with No. 4 Notre Dame-Fairfield in a semifinal matchup Monday, at a time and site to be announced.
