Tolland Girls Track Team Wins State Open

Editor’s note: We published this story earlier in the week, but thought to bring it back around to once again congratulate the girl’s track team. They’ve been making waves this season.

The Tolland girls track team beat out New Haven’s Wilbur Cross by two point and Westport’s Staples by nine at the State Open to secure its first win at the event.

The girl’s team won the Class M title on Feb. 14, according to the Hartford Courant.

Tolland’s third place finish in the 4x400 helped push the team to the top.
