Tolland High Graduate Gets $150,000 Marine Corps Scholarship

Michael Johnson, a resident of Tolland and upcoming 2014 graduate of Tolland High School, is one of this year’s Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Scholarship Program, Marine Corps Option, recipients.

Capt. Thomas Abbott, the Executive Officer of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Springfield, Mass., presented King with a $150,000 scholarship during a high school awards ceremony June 3, 2014, at the school.
