Tolland High School DECA Club Gets $7,500 Grant
The AT&T Foundation recently awarded the grant to the business club.

Tolland High School was recently awarded a $7,500 grant from the AT&T Foundation to fund additional trips and networking opportunities for the school’s thriving business club.
Tolland High School’s Business Club – a chapter of the international organization DECA – was launched in 2012 and has since grown to include more than 60 student members. The club gives its members the opportunity to learn and hone valuable management skills through hands-on, real-world experiences.
In years past, the club has brainstormed, proposed and organized sales-oriented fundraisers, career development workshops, “Shark Tank”-style business competitions and several community service events at organizations throughout the town.
