Tolland High School Set for CCC Boys Hoop Tournament

Sixteen teams will compete for the Central Connecticut Conference boys basketball tournament championship beginning Thursday night.

First-round games begin at various times between 6 and 7 p.m. at the eight schools boasting the highest seeds.

Quarterfinal matchups are scheduled for Saturday, semifinals on Tuesday and the finals on March 2. All games after the first round will be contested at Bulkeley High School in Hartford.

• 14-Hall at 3-Middletown

6:30 p.m.

• 11-Northwest Catholic at 6-Bloomfield
• 9-South Windsor at 8-Tolland

6:45 p.m.

• 15-Hartford Public at 2-East Catholic
• 13-Wethersfield at 4-East Hartford
• 12-Rocky Hill at 5-Simsbury
• 10-Windsor at 7-Newington

7 p.m.

• 16-Manchester at 1-Weaver
