Update: Two Tolland Students Sent to Hospital After High School Evacuation

Update: Two students were sent to the hospital for treatment after being exposed to the cold.

Update: A pipe burst in the school shortly after 10 a.m. and caused an electrical fire, according to the Courant. School officials are asking parents not to come to the school.

Update: Twelve people are being evaluated for possible exposure, according to the Hartford Courant.

Tolland High School students have been evacuated and brought to the middle school, according to NBC Connecticut.

An alarm sounded at 10:10 a.m. and there were reports of an electrical problem, according to the Hartford Courant.

Some students walked a half a mile to the middle school without coats.
