Tolland Library's Festival of Trees

The Friends of the Tolland Public Library will open their Festival of Trees Fundraiser with a reception featuring the Tolland High School Madrigal Singers on Thursday, November 19th from 6 to 7:30 pm at the library located at Tolland Green. Tolland residents, local businesses, and social organizations have demonstrated their creativity and imagination by decorating tabletop trees on which visitors can bid during a silent auction. The Thursday night reception is the opening night for bidding on the trees, and includes entertainment, refreshments, a door prize. Bids will be accepted during regular library hours until Saturday, December 5th with final bids being accepted on Sunday, December 6th from 2 p.m. to 3 pm. Successful bidders may take their trees home to enjoy. Winners not present will be notified by phone, and trees can be picked up during regular library hours.
