Tolland Obituary: Alice Farese, 93

Alice A. (Steppen) Farese, 93, of Ellington, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Woodlake of Tolland.

She was born April 16, 1923 in East Windsor to the late Peter and Mary (Skoschuta) Steppen. She enjoyed spending her holidays with her nephew Steven and family and her Sunday morning coffee with her nephew Michael.

She is survived by her siblings; Albert, Joseph and Katherine; her very special niece Peggy Margelony and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Victor in 1992, her siblings, brothers; John, Anthony, Charles, Frank; her sisters, Anna, Frances, Tessie and Margaret.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 10:00 am -11:00 am at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville. A Funeral Home Service will take place at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville.
