Tolland Obituary: Amy Jezek, 42

Amy Lynn Jezek, 42, passed away unexpectedly on the sunny afternoon of May 9, 2016.

Amy was born on April 4, 1974 in Manchester. She was a 1992 graduate of Tolland High School.

A daughter, sister, mother. You wouldn't catch her a day not wearing pink. She cared and she loved. There were times of struggle and times of triumph. She had a gift with sarcastic humor, and could out-Med-talk any pharmacist. She aspired to study psychology to help people who also suffered through what she had.

She loved music, leading a life full of concerts and often sharing her favorite music, Metallica, Queensryche, and Moody Blues, with all. Her H.S. senior quote by Metallica - "Trust I seek and I find in you; everyday for us something new; open mind for a different view and nothing else matters."

Amy is survived by her son Jeremy MacDonough, her parents Fred and Marie Jezek, her sister Kimberly with husband Nathan and their son Andrew Rogers, all of Tolland. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and cousins of Tolland & Stafford, as well as in NH and MD.

Amy's relatives and friends will be received at Tolland Memorial Funeral Home at 375 Merrow Rd. Tolland, on May 13th at 9am - 11am, with services immediately following at 11am.
