Tolland Obituary: Anne Lovejoy, 103

Anne B. Lovejoy, 103, of Manchester, the wife of the late Hiram Emerson Lovejoy, died Friday December 2, 2016 at Woodlake at Tolland.

Born in Leverett, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Tillie (Stefancawicz) Kuzmeski. She is survived by her children Robert Earl Lovejoy of Florida and Betty Ann Lantieri of Tolland; her grandchildren Robert Lovejoy, Jr. and wife Nancy, Debbie Lovejoy, David Lovejoy and wife Karin, Susan Gross and husband Rick, Sheri Lee DePriest and husband Robert, and Paul Lantieri and wife Diana; her sister Mildred Hawley of Coventry and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Anne was a long time Communicant at the Church of the Assumption in Manchester. She retired after 25 years from Pratt and Whitney and was an active member of the Pratt and Whitney Retiree Club. Some passions of hers were traveling, bowling and square dancing.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 9th at 10:15 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption 29 Adams St. South, Manchester, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
