
Edward O. Clark, Jr., of The Villages, FL passed away peacefully on October 2, 2015 with family by his side. We admire and celebrate his courage, determination, and strength as he battled brain cancer the last two years.
Ed was born July 27, 1951 in Rockville Hospital (Vernon) to his parents Edward and Carrie Rose Clark. He moved to The Villages in 2011 and was active and engaged with his family and friends. He had a deep respect and passion for the game of golf and for those he shared that time with, especially his brother-in-law Gary Jones.
He graduated from the University of Connecticut and worked in the insurance and reinsurance industry for 40 years. Among his professional accomplishments, Ed was responsible for conducting insurance and reinsurance claim inspections, claim evaluations, claim analysis for communications, due diligence analysis, TPA reviews, and technical support for run off claim management. Ed also provided expert witness assistance and testimony.
Ed will be deeply missed by his wife of 34 years, Karen M. Clark, his son Michael Edward Clark; step-daughters Wendy Raskevitz along with her husband Jeremy Kellogg, and son Joshua Kellogg; Lisa (Raskevitz) Jarvis, her husband Todd Jarvis, and their children Kelsey and Nicholas; father Edward Oliver Clark, Sr., mother Carrie Rose (Vesely) Clark (deceased). His brothers, James and Larry Clark; sisters, Eileen (Clark) Rowe and Sally Anne (Clark) Jones and their families.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 4 PM to 6 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd. (Rte. 195) Tolland. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the United Congregational Church of Tolland, 45 Tolland Green, Tolland. Burial will follow at South Cemetery, Tolland.
