Tolland Obituary: Janice Trapp, 67

Janice Mary (Saad) Trapp, 67, of Tolland, beloved wife of William Barry Trapp passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 after a long illness.

She was born January 2, 1950 in Southbridge, MA, the daughter of the late Michael Anthony and Anne Mary (Cuikaj) Saad. She retired from the Vernon Public School System as the Cafeteria Manager. She enjoyed spending time surrounded by her family, cooking and watching the food channel.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Heather Mary Trapp of Ellington; her son, William Michael Trapp and his wife Melissa Ann Trapp of Tolland; her sister, Judy Anne Paliy of Rockville; her grandchildren, Shelby Anne Trapp, Demaris Mary Trapp, and Jeremy William Gibson. She was predeceased by her grandson, Timothy Michael Trapp.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Grove Hill Cemetery, Vernon.
