
Judith (Jaconski) Wrobel, 73, of Ellington, formerly of Tolland, beloved wife of the late Frank S. Wrobel Jr., died suddenly on Monday, September 26, 2016 at her home.
She was born on May 3, 1943 in Rockville, daughter of the late Peter and Evelyn (Scheibe) Jaconski. Judith grew up in Rockville and graduated from Rockville High School in 1961. Judith was married to the love of her life, Frank Wrobel, on October 14, 1961 and together they settled in Tolland.
She worked at the Tolland Public Library for over 22 years. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the apple of her eye and she cherished every moment she got to spend with them. A kind, caring, loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, she always had a smile on her face and will be greatly missed.

She leaves her children, Cheryl Lemieux and her husband Ron of Branford, Steven Wrobel of Greenfield, MA, Cindy Malone and her husband Tom of Ellington, and Debbie Reid and her husband Mark of Stafford Springs; 11 grandchildren, Chris, Danny and Allie Lemieux; David, Katie and Amanda Wrobel; Brian and Jessica Malone; Kyle, Lindsay and Matthew Reid; two great grandsons, Izaiah and Mathias; her lifelong best friend, Susan Schutz of Tolland; her sister-in-law, Barbara (Steppe) Jaconski of Ellington; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Ruth (Wrobel) Mitchell of Greenwood, IN; and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Peter W. Jaconski.
Family and friends may gather on Saturday, October 1, 2016, 10 a.m. at the Ladd Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Rd. (Rt. 83), Vernon; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m., at St. Bernard Church in Rockville. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Rockville. Her family will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
