Tolland Obituary: Kathleen Lloyd, 65

Kathleen M. Lloyd, 65, of Tolland, beloved wife of Herbert Lloyd, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2015.

She was born October 2, 1950 in Manchester, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Ridzon) O’Neill.

Besides her husband Herbert, she is survived by her son Jameson Lloyd and his wife Jennifer of Tolland, and her grandchildren Mackenzie and Aubrie. She also leaves her brothers Arthur O’Neill and his wife Patricia and Bernard O’Neill and his wife Renae.

Kathleen was happily employed for many years by her great friend Dr. Michael Serow. The most important thing in her life was spending time, laughing with, loving and spoiling her two beautiful granddaughters.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the DeQuattro Center especially Dr. Michael Reale, all the angels on 2 East at Manchester Memorial Hospital who lovingly cared for her needs every moment she was with them, and the ZUMBA Hens for being the best support team over the years that anyone could ever ask for.

In lieu of monetary donations, the family asks that you would please donate a pint of blood to the American Red Cross in Kathy’s memory.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 4-6 pm at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road (Rt. 195), Tolland, CT 06084. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11 am at St. Matthew’s Church, Tolland with burial to follow at South Cemetery, Tolland.
