
Noella (Daigle) Labbe (age 85) of Tolland, formerly of South Windsor and East Hartford, died peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Woodlake of Tolland. She was the beloved wife of the late Herman L. Labbe and the daughter of the late Wilfred and Alphonsine (Pelletier) Daigle.
She was born December 25, 1929 in Fort Kent, Maine, married, and moved to Connecticut in the 1950’s. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed bowling, bingo and card playing. She was an Honorary Life Member of the Supreme Council Columbiettes.
A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she leaves her son Wendell Labbe and his wife Nancy of Ellington and their children Melissa and her husband David Smey, Wil Labbe and his children Dakota and Jessica, and Andrew Jason (AJ) Labbe; and her daughter Deborah Murasso and her husband Raphael of Andover, and their daughter Megan and her husband Scott Pytlik. She is also survived by her sister Eula Maloney of Chicopee, MA and is predeceased by her sisters Alice (Bell) Morytko and Hazel Soriano.

Noella’s family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Gloria and Merita from Friends for Friends, to the staff at Woodlake at Tolland, and to the VNA Hospice for their tender and dedicated care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 10:30am in St. Rose Catholic Church, 33 Church St., East Hartford, with a period of visitation that morning from 8:30am-10am at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford. Burial to follow services in Wapping Cemetery, South Windsor.
