Tolland Obituary: Rosalie Belekewicz, 98

Condolences to her family and friends.

Rosalie Belekewicz, 98, of Tolland, the wife of the late William B. Belekewicz died Friday, December 04, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital.

She worked through much of her life, first at G. Fox, later at Liberty Mutual, before retiring from Aetna. Rosalie was a volunteer at the Penny Saver in Manchester for many years, attended 2nd Congregational Church in Coventry, loved playing cards with her friends, and travelled extensively throughout Europe, the far east, and on numerous cruises over the years. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who always doted on her family.

She is survived by her sons; William E. Belekewicz and his wife Patricia of Ellington and Richard J. Belekewicz and his wife Nancy of Manchester; her grandchildren, Kimberlee Milikowski and husband Karl, William Belekewicz and wife Paula, Gregory Belekewicz and wife Mira, Geoffrey Belekewicz and wife Carrie, and Brandon Belekewicz and fiancé Myriah; her great-grandchildren Emma Rose, Molly, Cora, Emma Rae, Ryan, Samantha, Cristofer, Dustin, Ashley, Jeremie and Briana; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the youngest daughter in a family of 7 children, all of whom predeceased her.

Rosalie’s family would like to offer a special note of thanks to the Doctors and staff at both Woodlake at Tolland and St. Francis Hospital for their kindness and care.

Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, on Monday, December 7th from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Second Congregational Church 1746 Boston Turnpike, Coventry, followed by burial in East Cemetery, Manchester.
