Tolland Obituary: Virginia Moller, 67

Condolences to her family and friends.

Virginia "Ginny" (Tobin) Moller, 67, of Willington, loving wife of over 47 years to Stephen Moller, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Hartford Hospital.

Born in Rockville, the daughter of the late Charles and Ada (Ryan) Tobin, she grew up and lived in Tolland before moving to Willington 49 years ago. She was a graduate of Ellington High School, Class of 1968, and she graduated from the Windham Hospital Nursing Program. She worked as a nurse in the health care profession for several years.

Virginia liked to play bingo and go to the casino. She was the captain of the Pierce Construction Softball Team for two years, and she really enjoyed it.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Ronald Moller of Ashford, and Richard Moller and his wife Jennifer of Manchester; three grandchildren, Raina, Ashland, and Richard Jr.; three brothers, William Tobin and his wife Carol of South Windsor, Joseph Tobin of Tolland, and Louis Tobin of MA; a sister, Quelle Reams and her husband Orin of Virginia Beach, VA, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Fran Weigold and Lola Cry.

Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon followed by a funeral service at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville.
