Tolland Officials Outline Referendum Rules

The annual budget referendum will be held May 2, 2023 in the Tolland Library Program Room at 21 Tolland Green (Lot C).

• Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
• Only registered Tolland voters may vote in this referendum.
• Absentee ballots are available in the Town Clerk’s Office.
• Absentee ballot applications are also available on the Town website: https://www.tollandct.gov/town-clerk/pages/voter-registration-absentee-ballots
• Applications as well as ballots may be deposited in the drop boxes. Boxes are emptied daily.
• Drop Box locations:
  • Parking Lot A near Human Services entrance
  • Parking Lot C near Library entrance

*If voting via absentee ballot, please be mindful of the following:

• Absentee ballots can be returned in person to the Town Clerk’s Office by 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2023, or in the mail or drop boxes by 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
