TOLLAND, CT — To the Editor:

Councilor Khan and Yudichak are proud to let the community of Tolland know that on Monday, April 10th, the Town Council voted 5-2 with bipartisan support for the budget. The Council kept in mind all aspects of our community . We understand some residents may have wanted more and some wanted less. The Council decision represents what is practical for all taxpayers.

The Council must represent all residents including fixed income families or individuals, seniors, businesses, the unemployed, town operational requirements, school requirements, and inflation pressure on all. The Council sought to find a balance. It was a difficult task and these are extraordinary times.
