Tolland Public Schools Grounds Beautification Day

Monday August 3rd from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm In cooperation with Education First over 60 students from Germany, China, Japan, and other countries will be volunteering their time and working on the grounds of the Tolland Public Schools!  Please come join our group to work on the grounds of any of the 4 schools on Monday August 3rd from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Come help out alongside these dedicated foreign exchange students as they work for our community, and our country, as they weed, mulch, and dress the exterior grounds in advance of schools opening. Refreshments to be provided. Wheelbarrows will be needed at two schools-Birch Grove Primary School and Tolland Intermediate School. Those willing to donate for use are asked to drop them off at either school (Monday-Friday between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm ) prior to the event on August 3rd, or the morning of the event. Please label your wheelbarrow with your name, etc. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own work gloves, rakes, and any other equipment they may want to use.
