Tolland Resident Places Second at International Music Competition

Matthew Della Camera of Tolland placed second in the High School Euphonium competition at the North East Regional Tuba and Euphonium Conference in Ithaca, NY, on April 21.

According to a post on Tolland Patch, the conference was sponsored by the International Tuba and Euphonium Association.

Felix Geroldinger from Austria placed first.

Matthew is a member of several bands and ensembles at Tolland High School, the University of Hartford, and at the Community School of the Arts at the University of Connecticut, among others.
