Tolland Residents Come to the Rescue of Lost Fawn
They saved the deer from Route 195.

TOLLAND, CT - A resident and her two sons are being credited with recently saving a wandering young deer from potential harm on a busy road.
Town Manager Steve Werbner said the residents found the fawn on state Route 195, known locally as Merrow Road, and stayed with it until an animal control officer, state police and public safety officials could arrive on the scene.
Town officials did not have a record of the residents' names.
