Tolland Squads Qualify for Postseason Play

It promises to be a busy fall postseason for Tolland High School, with three teams having already qualified for Class M state tournament competition and some runners looking to make history.

Boys soccer has the top ranking among Eagle teams, sitting in fourth place in the class through Wednesday with a 13-2-1 record.

Girls soccer is tied for fifth (12-2-2), and girls volleyball is tied for 16th (9-10).

State tournament action begins in early November, with championship games slated for Nov. 21.

This Saturday, girls cross country will seek its fifth straight Class M championship, and next week will attempt to capture its third consecutive State Open crown.
