Tolland Staging Free Residential Electronics Recycling Event
The town, in cooperation with Take 2, Inc. will be hosting a free residential electronics recycling collection event.

TOLLAND, CT — The popular free residential electronics recycling event is back in Tolland.
The town, in cooperation with Take 2, Inc. will be hosting a free residential electronics recycling collection event at Tolland High School on Oct. 21, between 8 AM and noon.
Residents are encouraged to bring their unwanted electronics to the drive up/drive through session.

Take 2 Inc. will be on site to unload vehicles and safely package and transport all equipment to their Waterbury facility to be responsibly and securely recycled. Take 2 employees will also assist vehicles in the lot.
Accepted materials include, but are not limited to computers, laptops, printers, fax machines, monitors, TVs, cell phones, tablets, video games, game consoles, VCR/DVD machines, remotes, keyboards, small appliances, light bulbs and batteries.

Unaccepted materials include smoke detectors, propane tanks, ballasts, paint, household hazardous waste and appliances containing freon, i.e. air conditioners, refrigerators, dehumidifiers.
Take 2 Inc. is a Waterbury based electronics recycler. Take 2 is approved by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection as a Covered Electronics Recycler in conjunction with Connecticut’s Electronics Recycling Law, RCSA 22a-638-1. All equipment will be transported by Take 2 to its facility for responsible and secure recycling.
