Tolland Student Named to Academic Society at Colby-Sawyer

She will be inducted later this month.

TOLLAND, CT ‑ Kirsten Shea of Tolland will be inducted into the Colby-Sawyer College chapter of Alpha Chi on Sunday, Oct. 23. Shea is a member of the class of 2018 majoring in business administration.

Alpha Chi National Honor Society promotes academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students. The New Hampshire Alpha Chapter was established on the Colby-Sawyer College campus in the spring of 1980. To be eligible for membership a student must rank in the top ten percent of the junior or senior class and demonstrate the Alpha Chi values of truth and character. This fall, 28 new students were inducted into the society.

Alpha Chi national honor society promotes academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students. The New Hampshire Alpha Chapter was established on the Colby-Sawyer College campus in the spring of 1980 to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among our students and to honor those achieving such distinction. This fall, 30 new students were inducted into the society.
