Tolland Town Council To Review Grant, Land Sale And Road Extension On March 24
Council members are scheduled to consider a records grant, a Susan Drive parcel sale and a road extension matter.

TOLLAND — The Tolland Town Council is scheduled to meet in a hybrid session at 7 p.m. March 24 in Council Chambers and on Zoom, with action items that include a historic documents preservation grant, a proposed sale of town-owned land on Susan Drive and acceptance of the Joe Sabbath Drive Extension and related drainage infrastructure.
According to the agenda, the meeting will begin with a call to order, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, a moment of silence and a citation for Anna Turner. The agenda also lists public participation, reports from boards and committees, liaison reports, the town manager’s report, approval of minutes from the March 10 regular meeting and communications from council members.
Under new business, the council is set to consider a resolution authorizing the town manager to enter into a contract with the State Library Association for a Historic Documents Preservation Grant for fiscal year 2026-2027. Council members also are scheduled to consider a resolution authorizing the town manager to finalize the sale of a town-owned parcel on Susan Drive, identified on the agenda as 15/K/14.17, to Nicco Carilli of 1 Camp Street, Enfield Connecticut for $6,500. The same agenda item would set a public hearing on the proposed sale for April 14, 2026.
A separate resolution on the agenda would authorize the town manager to accept the Joe Sabbath Drive Extension and associated drainage infrastructure. That item also includes setting a public hearing for April 14, 2026, according to the agenda.

The agenda lists no appointments to vacancies on municipal boards or commissions. It also lists no old business items.
The public will have two chances to address the council on matters within its jurisdiction. The agenda sets a three-minute limit for public petitions, communications and public participation near the start of the meeting, and a two-minute limit for public listed participation near the end.
