Tolland Town Council Seeking Resident Input On Budget Process, Cost-Saving Ideas
Tolland is seeking resident input on how the budget gets done.

TOLLAND, CT — The Tolland Town Council is asking residents to share ideas on how the town can improve its annual budget process, identify potential cost savings and increase public engagement.
In a notice posted July 16, the council said it is seeking feedback on ways to enhance the development of the town budget, improve municipal services and make budget information easier for residents to understand.
Residents are encouraged to submit suggestions related to reducing expenses, improving town operations, increasing transparency or encouraging greater participation during the budget season.

The council said all recommendations will be considered as officials work to strengthen fiscal responsibility and community engagement.
Residents may submit comments by emailing towncouncil@tollandct.gov by Sept. 1, 2026.
