Tolland Town Hall To Close Early Tuesday Ahead Of Juneteenth

TOLLAND, CT — Tolland residents planning to visit Town Hall on Tuesday should plan ahead. The Hicks Center will close at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth, according to a town notice.

The early shutdown follows the town's existing holiday calendar rather than a one-time schedule change.

When a holiday falls on a Friday or Saturday, Town Hall offices close the preceding Tuesday evening at 4:30. Residents who need in-person municipal services, paperwork or other office business may want to handle it before the early closing time Tuesday, town officials said.

Regular office hours will resume Wednesday, June 17.
