Tolland Town Offices to Close for Funeral of David Ridzon

Tolland Town Hall offices will be closed Wednesday March 25 from 9 a.m. to noon for public business to allow employees to attend the funeral of public works employee David Ridzon.

Tolland Public Works will be closed the entire day and surrounding towns have agreed to be on call for emergency service.

There may be traffic delays in the Tolland Green area due to the funeral service and there may be temporary road closures to accommodate the funeral procession.

Ridzon was killed Thursday in an accident while filling potholes in town.

The family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral procession will depart Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 for a memorial service to be held at the United Congregational Church in Tolland CT, at 10:00 a.m.
