Tolland Weather Alert: Weekend Snow Total Prediction Increased
It appears the winter storm forecast for the weekend took a turn for the worse.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Hartford and Tolland counties in anticipation of Saturday’s storm.
Snow will begin falling Saturday morning and may mix with rain midway before changing back to snow during the late afternoon and evening. Totals of four to seven inches of snow are possible.

- This Afternoon Mostly cloudy. Near steady temperature in the lower 30s. Northwest winds around 5 mph.
- Tonight Partly cloudy in the evening...then clearing. Lows around 16. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
- Friday Sunny. Highs in the lower 30s. Southwest winds around 5 mph.
- Friday Night Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 20s. South winds around 5 mph.
- Saturday Snow. Moderate snow accumulation. Highs in the lower 30s. West winds around 5 mph...becoming north in the afternoon. Chance of snow 80 percent.
- Saturday Night Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow. Near steady temperature in the upper 20s.
- Sunday Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 30s.
- Sunday Night Mostly cloudy. Cooler with lows 10 to 15.
- Monday And Monday Night Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of snow showers. Cold. Highs in the mid 20s. Lows 10 to 15.
Tuesday Through Wednesday Partly cloudy. Cold. Highs in the lower 20s. Lows 5 to 10 above.
