Tolland's Callis Honored by Liberty League
He was recently named the Liberty League track and field rookie of the week at RIT.
ROCHESTER, NY - Freshman Tom Callis of Tolland, a member of the Rochester Institute of Technology's men's track and field team, has been named Liberty League Men's Track and Field Rookie of the Week.
It was for his performance for the week ending April 3. It is the first honor of the outdoor season for Callis.
Callis was second in the javelin with an ECAC qualifying throw of 59.00 meters at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational.
