Top Tolland Runners at 79th Manchester Road Race

The 79th running of the Thanksgiving Day Manchester Road Race drew more than 13,000 athletes from around the country and nearly every town in Connecticut.

Nine Tolland runners had the distinction of placing in the top 10 of their respective divisions:

• Donald Jakoboski, M6569 - 2nd
• Nathan Paolangeli, M0113 - 3rd
• Christina Tracy, F4549 - 3rd
• Isabelle McNamee, F0113 - 3rd
• Brett Stoeffler, M4549 - 4th
• Luke Stoeffler, M0113 - 4th
• Susan Janton, F4549 - 5th
• Chris Sauter, M5054 - 8th
• Hayley Collins, F1418 - 8th

The top five overall finishers from Tolland were:

1. Trevor Lafontaine, age 22 (20th)
2. Derek Jakoboski, age 29 (29th)
3. Matt Mensher, age 21 (34th)
4. Brett Stoeffler, age 48 (87th)
5. Connor Lafontaine, age 19 (94th)
