Tolland Human Services has a limited number of $24 Senior Farmers Market benefit cards available. Recipients must be over 60 and meet income guidelines as follows: $26,973 (single) or $36,482 (married). The benefit cards can be used at any local participating Farmer’s Market to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, herbs and honey. This program is sponsored by the CT Department of Agriculture and the USDA Food and Nutrition Services. Call Tolland Human Services 860-871-3648 for more information. Cards are distributed by appointment only.

Tolland Human Services continues to take Renter’s Rebate applications. Renters aged 65+ ( or younger totally disabled) can qualify for up to a $700 rebate check if their 2022 income is less than $40,300 (single) or $49,100 (married). Applicant must produce proof of all 2022 income and rental expenses. The Renter’s Rebate Program is funded by the State of Connecticut and administered by Tolland Human Services.
