Town Of Tolland: Town Sponsored Metal/Bulky Waste Pick-Up Scheduled For October

Town sponsored metal/bulky waste pick-up will be picked up at no charge during the first full week of October 2022 (week of October 3rd). RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED AT LEAST 4 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF YOUR NORMAL PICK-UP DAY.

To schedule your pick-up please call (800) 286-5335 or (860) 423-4527 or go to www.williwaste.com and click on “Bulk Pickup and drop down for Tolland Bulky Waste Collection” in the tabs at the top of the page. Please remember, you must schedule at least 4 days in advance of your normal pick-up day. For a complete list of acceptable items please visit us on the web at http://www.tolland.org/solid-waste-recycling/.

Homeowners are asked to place Bulky Waste items at the curb as close to the date of the scheduled pick-up as possible and remember, oil pick-up at curbside has been eliminated due to environmental concerns. Some auto parts businesses take used motor oil for a small fee such as Bill’s Auto Parts and Anderson Automotive.
