The Town of Tolland is seeking applications for the position of Collector of Revenue. Anticipated starting salary between $59,517-$70,867 (DOQ) with excellent benefits. Collector of Revenue is responsible for organizing and supervising billing and collection of real estate, motor vehicle, and personal property taxes and administering billing and collection of special assessments and user fees in conformance with applicable State Statutes and Town Charter. Reports directly to Director of Finance and oversees two full-time employees. Minimum requirements: BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related financial field & three to five years experience in collections, accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial work or equivalent combination of education and experience. Have Certification as Connecticut Municipal Tax Collector at time of application or obtain such certification within one year of employment.
