Tractor-Trailer, Compact Sedan, Collide On I-84 In Tolland
A car and truck collided on a stretch of highway in Tolland over the weekend.
TOLLAND, CT — The drivers of a compact sedan and tractor-trailer both escaped injury after colliding on a stretch of Interstate 84 in Tolland over the weekend, state police said.
The crash was reported Saturday at 2:15 p.m.
According to a state police crash report, 2018 Freightliner owned by National Freight Inc. with Indiana plates was heading east on I-84 in the center lane in Tolland. It was being driven by a 41-year-old Worcester, MA, man, according to a crash report.

The truck veered into the left lane and collided with a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 26-year-old Chester man, according to a crash report.
No injuries were reported and the trucker was issued a ticket for a lane violation, state police said.
