Tractors, Trucks And Sweepers Among Surplus Items For Sale In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — Psst ... want to buy a truck with a sander? Of how about an industrial office sweeper? Or a two-wheel tractor?

They are all part of a set of surplus property the town is taking bids on. Town officials Wednesday said the municipality is ready to get rid of them.

The vehicles and equipment are being sold "as-is" and "where is," and may be inspected at the Tolland Public Works Department garage at 118 Old Post Road on June 12 and 13 from 7 a.m to 3 p.m.

Written offers can be made to the Town Manager's Office, 21 Tolland Green, in an envelope clearly marked "Surplus Equipment – 6/18/24." Bids are due by 3 p.m. on June 18. Payments should be made by personal check or certified bank check or money order within five working days of the acceptance of the proposal or the the offer will be considered withdrawn and the next bidder will be offered the piece of equipment, town officials said.

The Town of Tolland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or proposals.

• With mulching deck, 1,177 hours
• Kubota B8200 4x4 tractor, 812 hours
• Sweeper Model 77-100CF S/N 2207, 71 hours
• Sweeper Model 77-100 S/N SWDH-490, 4,714 hours
• 1970 Graveley two-wheel tractor with power broom, 669.6 hours
