Tree Removal Prompting Road Closure In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — Part of Johnson Road in Tolland will be closed during the day Friday while crews remove a large tree, officials said.

A contractor for the town will be removing the tree on Johnson Road near the intersection of Sugar Hill Road. To accommodate large equipment, it will be necessary to close Johnson Road to through traffic in the area, officials said.

Public Works crews will be on site to assist residents of Johnson Road through the work period.

Motorists should expect delays, officials said.
